Vanguard 6435

The Vanguard 6435 is specifically designed for branch offices that depend on efficient consolidation of legacy protocols (SNA/SDLC, BSC, etc.) with voice and LAN traffic over dedicated or switched connections. The high performance and enhanced daughter card capability permit high bandwidth applications at the branch office level.

The Vanguard 6435 can be configured to connect to a 10 or 100BaseT Ethernet network with up to six serial applications, multiple LANs, ATM, or to aggregate analog voice ports. The Vanguard 6435’s space-saving compact size is designed as a standalone product and does not include option slots.

Vanguard 6455

The Vanguard 6455 offers the same features as a 6435, but is

designed to support the high-density requirements of medium

to large branch offices. The 6455 offers high performance,

enhanced daughter card capability, and the increased capacity of two option card slots. Option cards provide high port density or serial, T1/E1 channelized data and digital voice applications. Future upgradeability (Future Proofing) and ease of service is insured with the removable motherboard design in both a rack-mount or standalone environment.
